Hip and Knee Replacement

JCAHO Disease Certified Program Joint Commission Disease Specific Care Certified Program

MMCI was awarded the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care quality for Joint Replacement for Hip and Knee surgery patients by the Joint Commission for Disease-Specific Care Certification.  The indicators in this section examine the prophylactic (preventive) care given to patients before and after hip and knee replacement surgery to prevent post-operative complications.  This report includes patients that have had a hip or knee replacement surgery.  This does not include patients that are having the surgery because of a fracture.  It does not include patients that are having both hips or both knees done in the same surgery procedure.

No benchmark data is currently available.

Unless you click on the data and ratings for additional detail,
you will see an incomplete picture of our performance.

What does this mean to me? You'll receive the proper preventative antibiotics for your surgery and they'll be discontinued at the appropriate time.
