The Methodist Matching Program helps you use inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services at Methodist hospital, even if Methodist is considered "out-of-network" under your insurance plan. Most Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO members qualify for the Methodist Matching Plan.
When you qualify for the Matching Program, you have no out-of-network penalties and no out-of-pocket expense on services done at Methodist Medical Center. The Matching Program does not include physician fees. But all Methodist Medical Group and hospital-based providers are in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield network and are covered under the in-network benefit.

Please note: Medicaid, Medicare, HMOs, and Caterpillar insurance plans are not eligible for this program. If you are covered by Medicaid, Medicare, or Caterpillar insurance, your out-of-pocket co-payments will still be required for services received from Methodist. This program is for inpatient and outpatient hospital services only and does not include physician fees.
